Our Story
Olvy was founded in December 2020 in Bratislava, Slovakia, by Alex Krainiuk and a team of experienced Linux engineers and DevOps professionals with over 20 years of combined industry experience.
The idea behind Olvy came from a frustration we encountered repeatedly in our engineering work — businesses were struggling with hosting providers who offered servers but no real management. Clients were left to figure out security hardening, performance tuning, and server maintenance on their own, often without the technical knowledge to do it properly. Sites were slow, vulnerable, and poorly configured — not because the technology wasn’t available, but because no one was taking ownership of the infrastructure.
We built Olvy to fix that. Not as a generic hosting reseller, but as a team of engineers who take full technical responsibility for every server we manage — from initial configuration and security hardening to 24/7 monitoring, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
Since 2020, Olvy has grown into a managed hosting provider serving businesses across Europe, USA, Australia, Asia, and beyond, with infrastructure across 38 data center locations on 6 continents. In 2025, Olvy was recognized with the European Enterprise Awards for Most Innovative Managed Hosting Provider and the Technology Innovator Awards for Best eCommerce & Cloud Hosting Company in Slovakia.
